Top 10 NBA players right now ( When healthy )

1) Kevin Durant ( Slim Reaper )

The best scorer in today’s game. He has it all drives to the basket, mid range , three pointer you name it and he has it. He plays one to five. He has also become a top tier defender and a facilitator. The main reason he tops the list is because of his matured approach towards the game. He plays the game in the right way ( selfless ) and at the same time being unstoppable. When it’s clutch time you want the ball in Kevin Durant’s hands.

2) Kawhi Leonard ( The Terminator )

The best two way player in the game today. No doubt about that. Top defender, top 5 offensive players, a silent killer. He can do it all. The main reason he doesn’t top the list is because he’s a one on one player and he is not a better playmaker or a facilitator like Kevin Durant.

3) LeBron James ( The King )

He’s been the best player in the league for a decade now but age has got onto him. Even though his number are still the same his impact is not as good as Kd’s & Kawhi’s. ( Numbers don’t always tell the whole story ).

4) Anthony Davis ( The Brow )

Top defender, very good offensive player. The best power forward in the NBA. The sky is the limit for this man. It’s only a matter of time that he will be the best player in the league. He has not been in the best of teams before, this season he has LeBron as his teammate and he has a chance to be the MVP this season.

5) Stephen Curry ( Chef Curry )

The best shooter ever in the game. No doubt about it. Very good leader, teammate, selfless, baby faced assassin. His impact on the game is the best among all the players in this list. Lacks defense and physicality. Has not shown his regular season dominance in the post season.

6) James Harden ( The Beard )

One of the best scorers in the game. A very good playmaker. But his defense and bad performances in the post season is the reason why he’s not considered a top 3 player even after averaging 36 points last season.

7) Giannis Antetokounmpo ( Greek Freak )

Dominant, a force in paint( Unstoppable). Lacks an outside game which is very important in today’s game. There is no point in filling the stat sheet if you don’t have an outside game or a mid range game. In the playoffs when the defense gets tighter you should have other scoring options to win games and especially if you are the best player on the team.

8) Kyrie Irving ( Uncle Drew )

He’s got all the moves in his bag. One of the best scorer in today’s game. Big game player. He’s clutch. But his lack of leadership lead to their defeat in the playoffs last season even with a stacked team. He will get buckets when he wants but as a point guard it is important to get everyone involved, which is something that Kyrie lacks.

9) Damian Lillard ( Dame time )

When it’s Dame time there is nothing that you can do to stop this man. He’s a definite MVP candidate. He is a average playmaker, defender and he lacks post season success. That is why he is down the list.

10) Joel Embid ( The Process )

The best center in the league right now. Beast on both ends of the floor. He can shoot the three as well, which is a plus for any team. When healthy he’s an unstoppable force. He lacks athleticism and he’s an injury prone player. He needs a good team to win a championship because it’s not a centers game anymore. He cannot lead a team to a championship alone.

*It’s all subjective*
